United Support Group is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1989 for the purpose of providing social and recreational activities for children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Lancaster County. When the ARC of Lancaster County decided to stop running its adult recreation programs and focus on advocacy, a group of concerned parents did not want to lose these valuable programs and formed United Support Group. These adult programs are now known as the Circle of Friends Programs. Since the beginning of USG, it has now grown from one program to five programs: Summer Enrichment, After School, Out and About and Independent U. USG has now been providing quality programs and support services to Lancaster County for over twenty years!
