USG Summer Enrichment Program 2011 has ended. Thank you to all of our staff and campers for making this summer one of the best yet!

The Summer Enrichment program is a six-week summer camp held at United Support Group. It serves children and young adults, ages 5 thru 21, with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We also have an Inclusion Project that accommodates campers’ siblings without disabilities to come free of charge. This open environment allows our campers with IDD to learn from the inclusion children, and promotes learning and sharing for the inclusion children by fostering acceptance of others and embracing the amazing talents and gifts of children with IDD. Summer Camp offers exciting camp experiences like swimming, sports, music, arts and crafts, science and nature. There are also special event days such as the annual talent show, a petting zoo with pony rides, a trip to a science museum, and more! This engaging experience teaches each of the campers’ social and life skills in a natural setting.
Camp Overview
The first group is the younger group ages 5 -12. The participants do all activities together as one large group which is led by our Assistant Camp Director. They have activities such as arts and crafts, sing along time, and game time. They join the whole camp during morning activity, lunch time and swim days.
The second group is the Older Group ages 13 - 21. This group is split into five different sections. These sections rotate to different activities throughout the day. The five instructor- led sections are Nature, Music, Sports, Art, and Free Time. The group has a lot of fun all day long and has experiences that are one of a kind!
We also offer a one to one counselor program for our campers that need a little extra attention to help them have the best camp experience!

Additional Information is required with the application. USG requires an up to date medical physical and completed liability form before participation in the program may occur. USG accepts any physical form as long as it has been completed within one year. If you need a physical form please request one from USG. For all other information pertaining to the program please contact United Support Group.

| Inclusion Camper Application |
United Support Group reserves a limited amount of spots for children and teenagers without disabilities for the Summer Enrichment Program. As an inclusion camper, attendance is free to the camper and aids in promoting interaction among children and teenagers with and without disabilities. Inclusion campers can be from ages 5-15 and will be placed in the appropriate age group.
